From 2011-2014, she was the Fiction Editor of Gertrude Press. Tammy also created “Dottie’s Magic Pockets” – the first show for kids in gay families.

She attended the Tin House Workshop twice, earned her MFA from Antioch University, won a fellowship to the 2012 SLS Summer Seminar in Kenya, and lost a Million Writers Award. Tammy splits time between Portland, OR and San Francisco because she can’t decide which city has better chocolate.
