Tammy Lynne Stoner
Tammy’s southern friend novel, SUGAR LAND, is coming out in 2018 with Red Hen Press.
Over the years, Tammy has pumped gas, cleaned houses, roadied for Willie Nelson, been a medical experimentee, waitressed, taught college, and managed print production for OUT and the Advocate magazines. From 2011-2014, she was the Fiction Editor of Gertrude Press. Tammy also created “Dottie’s Magic Pockets” – the first show for kids in gay families.
She attended the Tin House Workshop twice, earned her MFA from Antioch University, won a fellowship to the 2012 SLS Summer Seminar in Kenya, and lost a Million Writers Award. Tammy splits time between Portland, OR and San Francisco because she can’t decide which city has better chocolate.
